Museo Historico Tecnologico, San Jose

The ICE Group Technological History Museum (Museo Histórico Tecnológico del Grupo ICE) in San Jose was established in 1993 with the primary objective of investigating, communicating, and educating the public about the technological and socioeconomic development that Costa Rica has undergone over the years through the two sectors of Grupo ICE, which are electricity and telecommunications.

The museum has various exhibits that aim to showcase the historical significance of the ICE Group, which comprises the National Power and Light Company, the Costa Rican Electricity Institute, and the Costa Rican Radiographic S.A. Visitors to the museum can explore the permanent exhibition room which displays electrical generation equipment, the first telephone exchanges, photographs, and models.
