The National Art Museum of Sport, opened in 1959, is located in downtown Indianapolis. It houses the Conference Center at Purdue University Indianapolis. Its collection includes over 800 works depicting over 40 sports in documents, photographs, sculptures and paintings. Besides its permanent collection, it hosts special exhibits of legendary of sports figures and teams.
