PAN Gallery (Palazzo delle Arti Napoli), Naples

The Palazzo delle Arti di Napoli, commonly referred to as PAN, is a museum situated in Naples. It occupies the historic Carafa di Roccella building located in the Chiaia neighborhood, specifically on via dei Mille. The museum serves as a venue for contemporary art exhibitions, showcasing various forms of art.

PAN officially opened its doors in March 2005 and operates under the jurisdiction of the Municipality of Naples' IX Central Authority for Cultural, Sports, and Leisure. Since its inception, PAN has utilized the expansive space within the eighteenth-century Palazzo Roccella to host exhibitions and provide research opportunities. It also offers services and resources for gaining insights into contemporary art across different mediums, including painting, sculpture, architecture, photography, design, cinema, video art, and cartoons.

The museum's program is marked by a wide range of activities and opportunities for engaging with art. These include retrospectives, exhibitions, cultural events like book launches and conferences on contemporary socio-cultural topics, along with various supplementary activities.

Recently, PAN has expanded its offerings to include film seasons, workshops, creative events, and a dedicated unit for younger visitors known as "Pan Kids," which organizes activities for children. Through its diverse programming, PAN remains committed to its mission of providing the city of Naples with a rich array of artistic experiences, all while embracing an international perspective.
