Place Thessalie (Thessaly Square), Montpellier

Place Théssalie is another modern square in Montpellier. The buildings that form the borders of the place are constructed in neo-classical style and were conceived by architect Ricardo Biffil. This place's claim to fame is a fountain named Fountain Ephebes, placed in the middle of the square. The conception and development of the fountain is attributed to Cristian Breazu. It represents three statues of Ephebes showering under the running water of the fountain.
