Roxy, Prague
A long-standing and popular nightlife establishment found on Dlouha Street close to the Old Town Square, Roxy has hosted some big names over the years since it was established. The interior is sparsely decorated with a slightly rundown and industrial feel. Drinks are reasonably priced and what seems to matter the most to the mixed crowd of locals and international guests is the bevy of underground beats found here that is difficult to find in most clubs in Prague. Genres run the gamut to include anything from techno and drum and bass, to jungle, and other genres. Past guests to the Roxy’s stage have included DJs like Luke Slater and Grooverider, to live bands including the Sneaker Pimps and Faithless.
