Sidney Cooper Gallery, Canterbury
Sidney Cooper Gallery is located on Saint Peter's Street, a hundred meters from the West Gate Towers. The Gallery is named in honour of Sidney Cooper, Canterbury’s prominent artist, who founded an art school that later became the art gallery. This well equipped public gallery represents contemporary art works of locally and internationally-reputed artists. Sidney Cooper Gallery runs 6-8 exhibitions a year. Gallery hours: Tuesday–Friday 10:30am-5:00pm, Saturday 11:30pm-5:00pm.
