Stadtmuseum, Dusseldorf

Stadtmuseum is a nice museum located in the park of Spee'scher Gaben in the city of Dusseldorf. This museum has a huge collection which describes the history of this city and this region from prehistory up until today. The museum itself is located in the Palais Spee building and it features 2 floors. On the first floor you will find a big selection of scale models, maps of Dusseldorf and aerial photographs. These exhibits represent an interesting view of the process of how this city changed over the years. On the second floor there are exhibits covering the following years: 1795 - 1901, 1902 - 1945 and 1946 – 2006.
