Szerecsen (Saracen) Pharmacy Museum, Pecs
The Szerecsen Pharmacy Museum was originally a drugstore founded by Istvan Sipocz in 1897, which is why the museum's interior has a Neo-Rococo look. The statues of Saracsens stand above the main entrance from the facade and on the top of the fountain that is situated in the centre of the former pharmacy. You can see lovely ceramic plates that are made by the famous Hungarian Zsolnay factory. The main exhibition may amaze you with its collection of original artifacts and historical documents introducing the pharmacy history of an entire Baranya county!
