Situated on the campus of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, the McClung Museum of Natural History and Culture was erected in 1963. Its exhibitions revolve around a range of subjects, including natural history, archaeology, anthropology, decorative arts, and local history.

In addition to its permanent exhibits, the museum also showcases changing exhibits that highlight various facets of art, history, and culture.
