Byron Bay is the cutest little beach town; a perfect mix of hippie + trendy people and spots. Think Santa Monica x Santa Cruz. There’s definitely something for everyone here. It’s a tiny little town, so once you arrive you won’t really need a car as you can pretty much walk everywhere. 

There’s plenty to do from tons of active things like hikes, water sports, and yoga to plenty of restaurants and bars to try. You cannot leave Byron without doing some shopping. From clothing to home decor, Byron Bay quickly jumped to the top of the shopping & boutiques list from all my travels. I wanted everything I saw.

The food scene was absolutely incredible too. As you may know, Joe and I are all about foodie travel, so finding cities with good restaurants is a priority for us! The food in Byron Bay was so fresh and delicious, with lots of organic, locally grown food at nearly every place. Around every corner you’ll find beautiful (and instagrammable) acai bowl and smoothie spots, and tons of cute breakfast nooks.  ......
