3 Reasons Why You Have to Visit Dinant, Dinant, Belgium (B)

During our nearly three weeks of living in Belgium, I got the impression, that there are three towns, that are the raisins of Belgium tourism. No discussion for Bruges and Ghent – they are famous worldwide. And then there is a Wallonian pearl – Dinant. Since we are still newcomers here, we haven’t got a chance to visit first two. However, we have already been conquered by the beauty of the third one.

Dinant is a small town in Southern part of Belgium, located on the beautiful shores of River Meuse. Its landscape is quite extraordinary for this kind of flat country like Belgium. Dinant is surrounded by quite high sharp rocks, which, as I see it, gives town half of its charm. 

We were there for less than a day, walked 8 kilometers, drank two beers, had a lunch on the river bank and made more than 170 pics. That was more than enough, so that I could give you 3 strong reasons why you should visit this cutie pie. Here it goes.

As much, as we had a chance to see, Belgium is a flat country. There are some hilly parts of the, but mainly it is forests and beautiful meadows with cheerful cows in it. However, Dinant is different. And not just because we there aren’t any cows.  ......
