Pennsylvania, Philadelphia Guide (B): 48 Hours in Philadelphia

48 Hours in Philadelphia
Philadelphia has a lot of history in its city blocks. It has had a growing cosmopolitan scene in the recent years, hosted Pope Francis for the World Meeting of Families in 2015, and was named the US’s first World Heritage City! Lonely Planet’s best city to visit in the US in 2016 has a lot to do, but if you only have 48 hours there, then here is a guide to get around the city and figure out the things to see in Philadelphia.

Things to See and Do

Philadelphia has something for everyone. There are plenty of museums, places to have a scenic walk, or free tours. People of all ages will have fun and find something that interests them in the city of Brotherly Love!

Come see where America was born! Independence Hall is one of Philadelphia’s most popular attractions. You can also reserve tour tickets for a certain time and day by calling ahead and paying $1.50 per reserved ticket. The Liberty Bell is right next to Independence Hall and you can view it for free. There are no tickets ...... (follow the instructions below for accessing the rest of this article).
