A Little Trip to Old Jakarta

A Little Trip to Old Jakarta, Jakarta, Indonesia (B)

Have you ever visited a place where you actually didn’t plan to visit, but you end up being grateful for your unplanned decision? I did, and here is the story.

The disappointment gently rose in my heart. I was so enthusiast to show my hubby the monument and had a plan to go to the top of the monument. Overlooking the metropolic Jakarta city must be spectacular! Seems like my plan failed to reach the goal. Oh no! Now, where will I bring my hubby in this hectic city? At that very moment, we simply want to see the other side of Jakarta, some historical sites that perhaps help us to aknowledge more about the rich history of this city. A quick think resulting of one particular site worth to visit and it was written in my head right away. “Let’s go to The Old Town Jakarta!” I said.  ......
