A Local’s Guide to Huntington Beach, California, Huntington Beach, California (B)

It was a little difficult to think of what to do in Huntington Beach because I don’t see it as a vacation spot, I see it as home! I would suggest coming off season to avoid the crowds! If you still want to come in summer, I would suggest coming for 4th of July. Huntington Beach is a great place to celebrate Independence day! We have a huge parade usually with a celebrity appearance and everyone rides bikes around town and celebrates. It’s so much fun!

Kimpton Shorebreak Hotel– With balconies that have the best view of Huntington Beach, complimentary wine and s’mores hours, pets welcome, and incredible service, there is nothing better than the Shorebreak!

I love this hotel so much, that even if I’m not staying there on a staycation, we go hang out at the bar and take in the amazing views. 

If I am lucky enough to be spending a weekend there, it’s always a hard decision to go to the beach, or just spend the day at the hotel!
