A Walk Through the City of Eternal Spring Cuernavaca, Mexico, Cuernavaca, Mexico (B)

We arrived in the city of eternal spring: Cuernavaca in Mexico. Indeed, it felt like spring. Other than in Cancun where you are always looking for shade due to the heat or Mexico City where is was very cool, Cuernavaca had a nice climate in October. It felt good to be in the sun and put your nose in the sunshine. Perfect weather for some exploration through the city.

Cuernavaca is about two hours away from Mexico City. You can go there directly from the airport or a bus station Mexico DF Taxqueña.

The main square of Cuernavaca is not only a plain square but surrounded by a park, some snack stalls and a lot of benches that make it a good place for people watching. The town hall is right in front of the small park with nice little patios inside you can visit.

Palacio Cortes can be found on the other side of Zocalo. It is a palace built almost 500 years ago by Indians in service of Hernán Cortés and was a symbol of Spanish rule over native Indians of ancient Mesoamerica (Source). ......
