Home to world-class museums, iconic sights and royal attractions, as well as restaurants, cafes and bars, Gamla Stan is a must for anyone visiting Stockholm.
The Royal Palace is a massive building that dominates the northern-eastern part of Gamla Stan. Built between 1697 and 1754, the Royal Palace boasts 600 rooms each brimming with history and legends.
