
Guide to Gdansk, Poland, Gdansk, Poland (B)
Gdansk is a small city located in northern Poland. It sits on the edge of the North Sea and is famous for its rich history and colourful architecture; its delicious pierogies and its relaxing seaside vibe.
Home to less than 500,00 people, Gdansk is lively and vibrant with plenty to see and do. So, today, I thought I’d share with you some of my favourite sights and sounds, hot spots, bars, and restaurants in this incredibly charming Polish city.
Ryanair and several other low-cost carriers offer inexpensive (we’re talking, like, CA$29 RETURN inexpensive) and direct flights to Gdansk from cities throughout Europe, including Leeds, UK and Stockholm, Sweden.
The airport is located just 12 kilometres from the city centre of Gdansk. The fastest way to get into the city is by taking the train, which runs roughly every 15 minutes during the day (although, less frequent in the morning, evening, and at night). Tickets cost just 3.50 zł (CA$1.20) and you can catch the train on the covered platform over at the west end of Terminal T2. ......
