Guide to Supetar, Croatia, Supetar, Croatia (B)

One of the reasons we chose to spend most of our Croatia vacation in Split was so that we could explore other places. Located on the central Dalmatian coast, Split is just a hop, skip and a jump from hundreds of islands, making it the perfect jumping off point for adventure. From Hvar to Brač, paradise is just a short ferry ride away.

For the last day of our spring 2017 vacation in Split, we opted to say goodbye to the mainland and spent a day basking in the sunshine, strolling along the beach and taking in the history in Supetar.

I have to admit, the island village wasn’t our first choice for a day trip. We’d originally planned to visit Hvar, but because we weren’t vacationing in high season ferry runs were infrequently and awkwardly timed. So, instead of giving up on our dream of island hopping, we decided to make the most of it and spent the day on Brac – and we were far from disappointed.
