Where to Grab a Pint in Leeds, Leeds, England (B)

You don’t have to spend much time in Leeds to realise that this is a city that loves a good pint. In the few weeks that we’ve been here we’ve had many, many chances to explore and sample the local scene, and it’s been outrageously fun. We’ve tried to visit different establishments in all four corners of the city, but there are a few that just keep us coming back for more.

North Bar has quickly become one our favourite haunts, and not just because it is within a stone’s throw of our flat (but that does help). It’s a bar with a great atmosphere: it’s lively and fun, but it’s also very relaxed. They have an awesome selection of beers, including one of the best porters I’ve ever sampled, and are often showcasing a local pick or two.

The bar staff are beyond friendly and very knowledgeable about their craft. We’ve had many great chats with them about Leeds and beer, and it’s pretty clear that they love what they do.
