Design District Antiques Hunting (Self Guided), Dallas

There are more than 50 along its streets, and between them they cover an extensive range of antiques, art and design. From unbelievable bargains to exclusive and expensive, you will find it here.

A good place to discover some wonderful treasures from past centuries and eras is Slocum Street, a thoroughfare with a big reputation. For more than 30 years, shoppers from all corners of the globe have come here in search of fascinating antique pieces and vintage furnishings.

A must-visit destination for great design is Dragon Street. Here you can find Continental European antiques, accessories, custom lamp shops, interior designers, locally manufactured and handcrafted wrought iron furniture and much more. The street is an eclectic and exciting hotbed of design and creativity that also occasionally hosts cultural events.

The Design District is also where you will see trendy apartments and a collection of good restaurants. Dine on delicious cuisines once you have finished your antiques hunt or as a welcome break between store, gallery and studio visits.
