1) Graham Oliver Gallery

Graham Oliver Gallery opened in 1988 and is located at the cross-section of Brown Street and St. Ann Street. Graham Oliver offers contemporary pastel paintings of traditional Cumbria and Wiltshire scenes, as well as city panoramas from the top of Salisbury Cathedral. Oliver experiments with different media to display his images. The gallery is open Tuesday and Saturday from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M.
Oxfam Art Gallery

2) Oxfam Art Gallery

Oxfam Art Gallery is a charitable art gallery located in the heart of the city. It occupies the upper floor of a building on Catherine Street. The gallery displays the work of local artists. Each artist gets to display his or her work at the gallery exclusively for a month at a time. Depending on when you visit, you may find contemporary art, paintings, wall hangings, 3D sculptures and more. The gallery is open Monday through Saturday from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M.

3) Salisbury Arts Center (must see)

Salisbury Arts Center occupies the former St. Edmund's Church, which was built in 1269. The church was transformed into the arts center in 1974. This community venue supports the arts by hosting a number of events and workshops. It offers sculpture and visual art exhibitions throughout the year. The center has kept some of the most beautiful features of the church, such as the stained glass windows. You can visit the arts center Monday through Saturday from 10 A.M. to 3 P.M.
Edwin Young Gallery

4) Edwin Young Gallery

The Salisbury Library and Galleries building houses the Edwin Young Collection. The gallery showcases an excellent selection of artwork composed principally of wash drawings by Edwin Young (1831-1913), a Victorian watercolorist. This artist willed the gallery, as well as his personal art collection and works to the city in 1913. Pieces by other artists have since been added to the gallery's collection. The Edwin Young Gallery is considered one of the most innovative galleries in the region and is a cultural hotspot.
Wiltshire Gallery

5) Wiltshire Gallery

Wiltshire Gallery specializes in watercolors, drawings, cards and photographs of the city, Salisbury Cathedral, Stonehenge, Hampshire and Dorset. The family–run gallery is known for encouraging talented local artists. In addition to displaying local art, the gallery also provides framing services. It is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M.
Fisherton Mill

6) Fisherton Mill

Fisherton Mill is a leading independent arts and crafts gallery. It occupies two floors and the courtyard of a historic building that features timbered ceilings and cast iron columns. The gallery displays creations by a variety of artists, sculptors and furniture makers. Here you can find an ever-changing array of jewelry and glass, ceramics and decorative metal items, which complement the art work on display. If you need a break, relax at the gallery's lovely courtyard café. Fisherton Mill is open Monday through Friday 10 A.M. to 5 P.M and Saturday 9:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M.
The Yard

7) The Yard

The Yard, an art gallery and shop, opened in 2009. Here you can find incredible home accessories, furniture and gifts. The Yard is located in a renovated warehouse on Dews Road. The gallery has spacey rooms to display pieces by local artists and independent designers. Exhibits change every six weeks, so new artists have the opportunity to display their work.
