If you are in a search of local crafts, than La Candela is the place to be. There is a large diversity of wood carvings on Patagonian cypress or rauli, interesting gifts and souvenirs, ornaments, candles, photo albums and photo frames, dried flowers, embroidered paintings, handmade products and lots of other items. If you want to buy something special as a souvenir, you will surely find it at La Candela.

Galeria Premier, situated in the Hotel Premier at Calle Rolando, is a contemporary art gallery. It displays all forms of visual art made by local artists. Among them you will discover Perla Leon, Maria Rosa Lo Schiavo, Marta Di Bitetti, Victoria de la Torre etc. They mostly exhibit paintings, such as oil on wood, acrylic on canvas, sculptures, portraits and unusual art objects.

Feria Artisanal Municipal is a local crafts fair located at the corner of Moreno and Villegas Streets. Typical Argentinean handmade crafts, art and pottery are exhibited here. All the objects can be bought at reasonable prices, and any product purchased will be a perfect souvenir or present. Next door to the fair is the Mercado Solidario (Solidarity Market). It is a small wooden shop that sell products of the Patagonian Entrepreneurs Association.

La Casa de los Artesanos was created in 1980 by a group of local artists, "La Asociacion de Artisanos Bariloche". It was established to stimulate the crafts trade. Among the objects exposed, you can find pottery, handmade furniture, glass and wooden woks, knitted items, embroidery and many other fantastic things. Casa de los Artesanos is a must visit while in Bariloche!

Artisan's Fair is an art works bazaar located at Calle Urquiza, between Moreno and Mitre Streets. It is an open air market, with permanent exhibitions of local handicrafts, souvenirs, gifts and other traditional products, also for sale. It is open all week long except Wednesdays, from 10 am to 8 pm. Due to its close proximity to the Civic Center of Bariloche, you can also visit the Sala Frey and Sala Ex- Correo that are right there.
