Along with the Bonn Art Society and the Society of Art and Design, the Art Forum (Kuenstler Forum), founded in 1987, also plays an important role in the buzzing art life on Hohshtadenring square. It is not only a static spot for local artists presenting their work, but also a forum for artwork, sculptures and other projects made by foreign artists. The Art Forum is a must-visit location, whether you want to learn more about the contemporary art scene or simply admire exceptional works of art.

2) Bonner Kunstverein

The Bonn Art Society (Bonner Kunstverein) situated on Hohshtadenring square, was founded in 1963. The main objective of the founders and protectors of the society was to create a forum for contemporary art and artists. Local residents seem to show an interest not only in contemporary art exhibitions, but also in discussion of video screenings, workshops and lectures being held here. The library adjacent to the exhibition hall is home to numerous literature works, where visitors can learn more about art in general.

The Firla Gallery presents graphic art since 1974, as well hosts international exhibitions of well-known artists. The store in the workshop features about 600 different pictures in form and color bars, which are made of high quality hand-made frames. Visitors are always welcome to explore the vast collection of art pieces in the relaxing atmosphere of the gallery.

The Art and Exhibition Hall of the Federal Republic of Germany (Kunst und Ausstellungshalle der Bundesrepublik), Federal Art Gallery in short, is located on the famous Bonn Museum Mile, in one of the largest museums in Germany. It shows changing exhibitions featuring art treasures and important cultural objects and paintings from around the world. It was dedicated in 1989, together with the adjacent urban Bonn Art Museum, which cooperates closely with the Art and Exhibition Hall.
