1) Villa des Arts

Villa des Artes is a multi-cultural centre established to promote contemporary arts, which also makes up Marocan culture. It consists of one of the largest museums in Casablanca, the first private one in the country. The museum features more than 800 artworks in permanent exhibitions, organizing also temporary exhibitions annually by international and local contemporary artists.

Cinema Rialto

2) Cinema Rialto

Cinema Rialto in Casablanca is one of the most famous entertainment spots around. Besides being a well known hang-out place, this establishment is worth seeing for its art-deco architecture. It is a fine building completed in 1930, when the art-deco style was famous. Visitors should not miss the chance to take a look inside and if possible, to go to a movie.
Complex Cultural Sidi Belyout

3) Complex Cultural Sidi Belyout

The Sidi Belyout Cultural Center is close to the Avenue de l'Armee Royale on Léon L'Africain street. It is one of very few places in Casablanca to present authentic drama and music, the complex being a large theater that hosts plays, music concerts and dance performances. The complex also contains a special area reserved for any kind of exhibitions, mostly artistic.

4) Memo-Arts

Memo-Arts is actually a gallery well-known among wealthy locals who are fond of antiques. Unlike the shopping spots downtown that offer kitsch and pricey souvenirs, Memo-Arts is the place to get authentic and original antiques that can always make a perfect gift or souvenir from Casablanca. The gallery features rooms with Moroccan and Oriental paintings, furniture, sculptures and books. Most of the objects date back to the last century but some are even older.

Theatre Mohamed VI

5) Theatre Mohamed VI

Another popular cultural venue of Casablanca, Mohammed VI Theatre, is in the Belvedere area of the city. Launched in 2006, this long-awaited theater hosts a wide variety of cultural events, from plays to dance performances and rap concerts. It is very famous for hosting especially international events. If you can't catch any performances there, make some time to simply take a look at the beautiful building, completed in an Art-deco style with Arabic influences.
