1) Memorial House of Stefan Baciu

The Memorial House of Stefan Baciu was erected in 1930 and 1931 by his father, Ioan Baciu. Stefan Baciu is a famous Romanian poet, essayist, journalist, art critic, translator, diplomat and professor, born in 1918. In 1990 he was declared an honorary member of the Romanian Union of Writers. The memorial house of Stefan Baciu was founded in 2003 thanks to a donation by the Baciu family. Its three halls and depository display furniture, pieces of art, more than 3600 books and an archive with approximately 6000 documents of the family.
Cultural Centre Reduta

2) Cultural Centre Reduta

Established in 1958, the Cultural Centre Reduta has been active for more than 50 years. It is located in one of the oldest buildings in the city that is declared a historic monument. The edifice erected in the 18th century is situated in Brasov Old Town. The present building is in the Baroque style with Rococo elements. Originally Reduta was a cinema, concert hall and theatre. Today, it holds conference and exhibition halls, education rooms and teaching courses, and features ballet and dance performances, as well as folkloric concerts. Several important national festivals and competitions, expositions and other cultural events are also held there.

3) Transylvania Art Gallery

Situated on Council Square of the Old City, the Transylvania Art Gallery is one of the most popular and highly visited galleries in Brasov. It is located in a historic building from the 15th century with a wrought iron gate from the 19th century. The gallery was founded in 2007 to promote art and beauty among local people. It holds a variety of old and new art pieces: painting, engravings, sculptures, icons, woodwork, graphics, art furniture, glasswork, ceramics and photographs by local prominent artists. Galeria Bistro de l'Arte is a unique place located in the Old City of Brasov. It was established in 2000 and comprises art, music and entertainment.
