The Drunken Unicorn

1) The Drunken Unicorn

Transformed out of a former underground parking garage, The Drunken Unicorn is one of Atlanta’s most popular clubs. It’s low-key location still doesn’t deter crowds from flocking to this hot nightclub, however, even during the week. A good variety of sounds can be heard here, including house, R and B, industrial, punk, and more, though The Drunken Unicorn tends to avoid mainstream music, truly living up to its underground theme. Two rooms, each with its own music, are available for guests to enjoy. The main room features a centrally-located bar with the dance floor surrounding it, while a smaller lounge with a chiller atmosphere invites guests to relax in its lush red, Asian-inspired, decor.
Clermont Lounge

2) Clermont Lounge

Opened in 1965, Clermont Lounge is a kind of a heritage place in Atlanta's nightlife. The club features a circular bar - that serves only strong drinks - and a jukebox. On Saturday nights the place is filled with DJ Romeo Cologne's music. The club was featured on Comedy Central's "Insomniac with Dave Attell" and some of past clientele include Marilyn Manson, Kid Rock, and Jon Stewart. Clermont Lounge has plenty of space to dance so you can be sure you'll have a great night out.
Dark Horse Tavern & 10 High Club

3) Dark Horse Tavern & 10 High Club

Dark Horse Tavern & 10 High Club are like Yin and Yang, two indispensable elements that form a single working unit. The tavern supplies the best beer in town while the club downstairs hosts up-and-coming rock-n-roll and heavy metal acts. Every Monday the club features Metal karaoke. So grab a beer and have some fun.
Blind Willie's

4) Blind Willie's

Blind Willie's is famous across the whole country. Named after the famous "Blind" Willie McTell, here you'll meet only the best blues acts, among which The Shadows and House Rocker Johnson and Sandra Hall perform weekly. Blind Willie's has nice staff, excellent live music and great bar. What more can one ask for?
Star Bar

5) Star Bar

Star Bar has recently passed into the hands of new owners and has been converted from a rockabilly club into a great night club with live music that features local bands as well as national acts. The crowd is very friendly and open minded. If you happen to be in town on Saturday night, don't miss the opportunity to check this club out.
