1) First Moravian Church

Opened on October 5, 1908, the First Moravian Church of Greensboro features a copper steeple covered with green patina. Other characteristic Moravian elements include a bonnet above the entrance with arches forming a dome. Sunday worship begins at 11:00 am.

Our Lady of Grace Church

2) Our Lady of Grace Church

Our Lady of Grace, constructed in 1952, is a Roman Catholic church and the largest parish in the city. One of the few Gothic structures in the city, its facade is made of pink granite with limestone trim and sculptural adornments. Its interior contains brick and limestone vaults, woodcarvings, a marble sanctuary and an Italian altar. The 2,226 pipe organ, the Jubilee, was dedicated at the church’s anniversary in 1977. Other notable features include Belgian stained glass windows depicting the Assumption and the Immaculate Conception, and a sculpture of Our Lady outside the church.

St. Andrew's Church

3) St. Andrew's Church

Built on the fiftieth anniversary of the previous St. Andrew’s Church, this classical Georgian style chapel was constructed in 1948, taking a year to complete. A traditional brick structure with a steeple, inside you will find a beautiful altar. Sunday worship is held at 8:30 am and 10:30 am.

First Christian Church

4) First Christian Church

Originally built at the turn of the 20th century, the present First Christian Church on West Market Street was constructed in 1952 in the Georgian style. Morning services begin at 8:00 am, which is less formal, with a large service including choir and organ music beginning at 11:00 am. This church is involved in a number of community activities and hosts such events as carnivals, marketplaces selling handmade crafts, jewelry and Christmas ornaments, poetry readings, concerts and more.

Faithway Baptist Church, located in the historic Lake Daniel district, is a Georgian red brick building with a tower and a white roof supported by four Greek columns. This church is surrounded by a beautiful park with ponds and local plants. Sunday worship begins at 11:00 am.

The First Baptist Church, located at the intersection of Friendly Avenue and Tate Street, offers Bible study, bell and choir practice and worship services. A three block long red brick building topped with a steeple, its Georgian facade is adorned with classical Greek columns.
