The Print Media Academy Heidelberg is an astonishing building in the heart of the city. Constructed in 2000, it has an impressive metal sculpture in front of it and two huge indoor cylindrical towers which can be seen through its glass walls from the outside.

4) St. Albert Church

Construction of St. Albert Church began in 1933 on the Neckar River bank. This red brick building survived World War II, but was in need of serious reconstruction. The centerpiece of the interior is the altar mural created in 1961 by Rudolf Kaufhold that depicts Christ enthroned in light with cherubs in a circular fourfold, a man, a lion, a bull and an eagle.
