1) Cairns Presbyterian Church

Cairns Presbyterian Church is a church with rich visions and values. It holds a morning service for people from young families and a night service specifically organized for teenagers and youth on the teachings of the Bible. The latter has music and interactive activities. The Presbyterian Church is an international church, and provides services in Korean and Japanese. The Church has it’s own music group and new talents are always welcome to join.
St. John The Evangelist Anglican Church

2) St. John The Evangelist Anglican Church

It's the first church to be built in Cairns, in 1884 and by that time, the only practiced religion was the Church of England. The building that is known today as the St. John The Evangelist Anglican Church, isn’t the original one. The original St. John was damaged by a cyclone and, in 1920, was demolished. Fortunately, in 1927, a new church was blessed and has since been a hub of activity. The church owns items of historic value, such as wooden vestries, a hexagonal pulpit, and brass crosses.
Cairns Baptist Church

3) Cairns Baptist Church

Cairns Baptist Church strives to teach people to respond to all the good that Jesus did for us. It gathers like-minded members who discover Jesus each day, through their hard work and beliefs. Some services at the church are held in Cantonese and Mandarin, and the staff also collaborates with Chinese churches from South Australia. On Sundays, daycare is available, so you can attend with your children.
Trinity Lutheran Church

4) Trinity Lutheran Church

Trinity Lutheran Church has been in Australia for more than 150 years. Today, it's one of the world’s major Christian churches. It has an impressive number of followers, because it's the largest Protestant church. Trinity Lutheran Church is a remarkable attraction, situated on Severin Street in Manunda, a suburb of Cairns. Everyone is welcome.
St. Margaret's Anglican Church

5) St. Margaret's Anglican Church

St. Margaret's Anglican Church serves weddings, baptisms and funerals. With baptism, there are no charges involved. Anglican clergy may officiate weddings outside of the church, as this is an option that attracts young couples. Annually, the church organizes a Garden Party, and it's a lot of fun. There are bake sales, delicious cakes, lunch, and even thrift shop bargains. This church tries to unite daily activities with soul nutrition.
Emmanuel Uniting Church

6) Emmanuel Uniting Church

At Emmanuel Uniting Church there are several groups that meet, like Kids for Jesus, Church Elders, Leaders Bible Study, Women's Evening Fellowship, and this is so no one feels left out. The Church tries to cover the spiritual needs of the residents, whatever their age. As the Presbyterian Church, the Uniting Church holds services in Korean. There is also a Samoan Congregational Church, specifically for the indigenous religion.
Seventh Day Adventist Church

7) Seventh Day Adventist Church

The followers of the Seventh Day Adventist Church go to church on Saturdays. According to the Ten Commandments, the world was created in six days and the seventh is a day of rest. Sabbath, or Saturday, is a day of worship and it lasts from Friday’s sunset until Saturday’s sunset. As with many other churches, the Seventh Day Adventist Church is involved in daily activities. Spiritual needs are important, but social and physical needs should be taken into consideration as well, is their creed.
