Notre Dame d'Esperance

1) Notre Dame d'Esperance (must see)

Located on top of Suquet Hill in old Cannes, this church is not only a sight to be seen, it also offers a fabulous view of the city and the bay. The church was built in the 14th and 15th centuries, featuring a Provencial Gothic style with wood paneling. Besides the architectural features, the church also contains a great collection of 19th century paintings, including a fresco by George Roux portraying the baptism of Christ.
Notre Dame de Bon Voyage

2) Notre Dame de Bon Voyage (must see)

Just in front of the Palais des Festivals, on Merimee Square, stands the largest and most valuable church in Cannes. It was built in 1865 in place of an older church by the same name and designed by Vianay Laurent in a faux Gothic style. The main entrance and portal above it, designed by ceramist and artist Roger Capron, makes the church truly unique.
Eglise Reformee de France

3) Eglise Reformee de France (must see)

This church, although rather simple on the outside, features very impressive acoustics and is often a highly sought-after venue for organ recitals and classical music concerts. Eglise Reformee de France is open to visitors for Sunday worship from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.
Eglise Anglicane

4) Eglise Anglicane

Also known as the Holy Trinity Church, this is one of three Anglican churches in Cannes and falls under the aegis of the Bishop of Gibraltar. Service is held at 10:30 am on Sundays. The church is located on Rue du Général Ferrié, right behind the Carlton Hotel.
Eglise Orthodoxe Russe Saint-Michel-Archangel

5) Eglise Orthodoxe Russe Saint-Michel-Archangel (must see)

Built in 1894 by Russian aristocrats living in Cannes to meet the spiritual needs of the Orthodox community, Eglise Orthodoxe Russe St-Michel-Archangel stands out in Cannes. It has a distinctive look thanks to its blue onion-shaped dome, three prominent gold crosses and an overall classic Russian design.
Eglise Saint-Georges

6) Eglise Saint-Georges

A former Anglican church, built in 1887 by English architect M. Bloomfield, this is an excellent example of the 19th century Gothic English architecture. In 1974 it became Catholic after being transfered to the parish of Nice. It is located on Avenue du Roi Albert, just north of Palm Beach.
