The historical building of the museum, located on 5810 Ferry Street, has been recently closed for renovations. Niagara Falls History Museum is temporarily being housed at Niagara Falls Armoury on Victoria Ave. Former called Lundy's Lane Historical Museum, it exhibits an important collection of War of 1812 artifacts as an hommage to the historical battle of Lundy's Lane. There are also great displays of a Victorian parlour, an early kitchen and children's old toys as well as artifacts referring to the foundation and development of the city of Niagara Falls. The museum is open from 10 AM to 5 PM Tuesday through Sunday, Thursdays until 9 PM.
