The Odessa Music Comedy Theater is situated on Panteleymonovskaya Street and was built in 1981. The original troupe was founded in Lviv in 1946. In 1953, it was transferred to Odessa. Today its program varies from classic operettas to rock operas and musicals. The theatre accommodates 1300 spectators.

It was named so to commemorate the Liberation Day of Odessa from the German-Romanian Nazi occupants. The Air-Force Memorial is situated on the 5th station of Big Fountain. An airfield was built during the war on Fontanskaya Road, so in 1982, this monument was erected in honour of airmen of the 69th Fighter Aviation Regiment. The memorial was created by architect Vasiliy Mironenko and sculptors Nikolai Eremenko and Vitaly Patrov.
