Situated on Uspenskaya Street, the Archangel Michael Nunnery is a wonderful religious complex which includes a beautiful church, a nunnery itself, a mercy house and the “Orthodox Odessa” museum. The nunnery was founded in 1835 by Knyazh Mikhail Vorontsov and his wife, Countess R. Edling.
