Chatby Tombs are considered to be the oldest tombs in Alexandria. The tombs were built after model Greek houses. They also resemble Anfushi Tombs in Alexandria. The tombs feature the doorway that brings you to corridors and two chambers.

Alexandria Sporting Club

2) Alexandria Sporting Club

Alexandria Sporting Club was built in 1890 and is one of the oldest clubs in Egypt. In 1952, it was taken over by the Egyptian government and converted to a national club and was managed by the Mahmoud Hamdy, the chairman of the club. 97% of the club area is occupied by a golf course. Those with annual memberships or who pay daily can play golf, as well as tourists. Summer memberships are available, too. It also has three swimming pools, tennis, horse-racing, basketball, football, squash and many other facilities.

Situated in Somouha, Ali Ibn Abi Talib Mosque is considered to be one of the most significant and beautiful mosques in Alexandria. In Muslim countries, he is regarded as a very courageous, intelligent person, and one who is totally devoted to Islam.

Sidi Gaber Mosque is another beautiful mosque, located in Sidy Gaber, Alexandria. The mosque was constructed in honour of Sufi Gaber ben Ishaq ben Ibrahim ben Mohammad al-Ansari. He was born in Morocco and traveled a lot until he settled down in Egypt. This marvelous mosque directly faces the sea.

Mustafa Kamel Necropolis

5) Mustafa Kamel Necropolis (must see)

Situated in El-Moaskar El-Romani Street, Mustafa Kamel Necropolis dates back to the Ptolemaic era, approximately 3rd century AD. The Necropolis comprises four tombs with very interesting depictions. The tombs are characterized by beautiful bright inscriptions and paintings that illustrate the life of the dead. Mustafa Kamel Necropolis was discovered in the year 1933.

Constructed over Stanley Bay, Stanley Bridge is a magnificent landmark that must be seen. It was built as an extension of Corniche with a total length of 400 meters with 6 spans.
