2) Heilandskirche

Heilandskirche, an Evangelical Lutheran church in the Plagwitz district, was built in 1888, designed by architect Johannes Otzen as a hall church with a brick facade. The red-roofed tower, at 86 meters, is the second tallest in Leipzig. In addition to the original Sauer organ, in 1993 a second one was installed, which was a gift from a Dutch organization.

3) Philippuskirche

Philip Church, built in 1910, was designed by Leipzig architect Alfred Muller. Located at the intersection of Aurelienstraße and Helmholtzstraße, it has a 63 meter tower. The church is decorated with Art Nouveau embellishments and has a Romanesque organ built by Jehmlich that is still in original condition.
Lindenau Liebfrauen

4) Lindenau Liebfrauen

The foundation stone of Lindenau Liebfrauen (Our Lady of Lindeau) was set in May 1907 by Bishop Aloys Schaefer. On July 7, 1908 the bronze bells were installed and the congregation was called to its first worship ceremony in the new church. Between 1913 and 1916, the church received a colorful mural with the motives of the Seven Joys of Mary, installed by Leipzig's painter Henry Hinrichs. After the World War II, the church was renovated and its interior remodeled. This was done according to plans of Arthur Becker/Kemberg and with a great assistance of many local volunteers.

5) Nathanaelkirche

Nathanaelkirche is an Evangelical Lutheran church located in the Lindenau district. Built in 1884 in the Gothic style, designed by architects A. Hartel and C. Lipsius, it has a 74 meter tower. The interior is also designed in the Gothic style. From 1977 to 1994, the church was closed for restoration and its interior was significantly altered.
