1) Saint Andrew's Presbyterian Church

Founded in 1934, Saint Andrew's Presbyterian Church is a beautiful Neo-Gothic style church. The last addition was made to the church in 1979. One unique feature is the pulpit situated outside the church which is used for outdoor services in the adjoining park.

The Serbian Orthodox Church of Saint George is located in the forest area of Canberra. The church was founded in 1955. It has a mix of Serbo-Byzantine style and Western elements. In 1992 a monument to General Dragoljub 'Draza' Mihailovic was erected in front of the church.

3) Saint Christopher's Cathedral

Saint Christopher’s Cathedral is one of the largest and oldest Christian churches in the city. Built in 1939, it was later enlarged in 1973. The Cathedral’s stained glass windows complete the beautiful style of this house of worship, one of the most fascinating in Canberra.
Saint Paul’s Anglican Church

4) Saint Paul’s Anglican Church

Saint Paul’s Church was the first Anglican Church to be built in Canberra, and is still the city's largest. First built in 1939, the church has since been enlarged twice. Its architectural style is a combination of art deco and Gothic elements. Look out for the church's Bell Tower, a rarity in this part of the country.

5) Canberra Baptist Church

This church was built in 1929, two years after the first Baptist Church in the city. This modest looking house of worship is located in Kingston, near Telopea Park, Canberra's oldest and longest park.
Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church

6) Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church

Founded in 1898, the Greek Orthodox parish of Canberra is one of the oldest in Australia. The Saint Nicholas Orthodox Church itself opened in 1917. It is located at the end of Telopea Park near the famous Burley Griffin Lake. This beautiful church building is a good example of traditional Greek architectural style.
