An upscale nightlife establishment where the city’s most fashionable set of guests frequent, Pink Elephant is part of a large conglomeration of clubs found all over the world, starting with the now defunct New York City location. Passing the sculpted topiary lining the entrance, once inside guests can make their way to the plush pink banquette seats in the swanky lounge area, surrounded by pink drapery, exposed brick walls, and a wood-paneled bar. DJs spin an upbeat mix of hip hop and Latin pop to a sweaty audience getting down on the dance floor. Queue to get in can get long at the Pink Elephant, and guests are encouraged to dress to impress in order to ensure entry.

2) Disco Club

A popular nightlife establishment where Sao Paulo’s affluent and glamorous set come to party, the Disco Club features an exclusive night with the biggest names in the electronic music industry and a chance to see international celebrities who are in town. This smallish nightclub has attracted the likes of Naomi Campbell and Gisele Bundchen to party in its environs. The beautiful mirrored hallway leading from the entrance to the main space containing the dance floor was created by renowned Brazilian architect and designer Isay Weinfeld. The rest of the interior space is decked out in plush red furnishings and a large disco ball above the dance floor.

3) Rey Castro

A nightlife establishment with a Cuban theme, Rey Castro offers guests a night of tropical delights in the heart of Sao Paulo. In addition to cocktails inspired by the Caribbean, like the mojito, Rey Castro offers a similarly influenced menu with delightful Cuban appetizers such as ham croquettes and fried plantains.
