1) Capital

The Capital opened in 1998 in Yekaterinburg's city center. It organizes exhibitions touching on a variety of subjects that feature the work of local and regional artists. One of the featured exhibits here is the collection of work by Vladimir Mirontsa, which includes jewelry, sculpture and ceramics, inlaid with semiprecious stones. A bronze sculpture by Andrey Antonov, some exquisite works of batik, and miniature sculptures are on display in this gallery as well.

3) Jegida

The gallery Jegida was established by the Sverdlovsk State Academic Philharmonic in 1999. More than 20 exhibitions are organized here each year. The regularly changing exhibits are designed primarily for the visitors of the Philharmonic Concert Hall, but they have long since become part of the cultural life of Yekaterinburg. In 2005, the gallery brought together different generations of artists, who create their art using a variety of techniques and styles, so that visitors of the Philharmonic could witness the artistic life of Yekaterinburg in all its splendor. On the 60th anniversary of the Allied Victory in WWII, the gallery displayed an ambitious and meaningful piece entitled "War and Peace".

4) Ural-Poster

Ural-Poster opened in 1997 and features the work of Yekaterinburg artists. Many of the pieces in the gallery were created by established artists. Here you can find paintings from the poetic realism period of the late 19th and the early 20th centuries, as well as work from the Soviet period. Although a commercial enterprise, the gallery also serves as a significant cultural center for the community. The Yekaterinburg Gallery of Modern Art is a unique museum and exhibition complex located in the historic center of Yekaterinburg. The gallery was established in 2003 with the purpose of preserving some of the best work by Urals artists. To date, the collection boasts over 850 paintings, drawings and sculptures. Its pieces chart the evolution of the Urals school of art from the 19th century until today. The permanent exhibition galleries are updated on a regular basis. Since opening in November 2004, the gallery has organized and curated over 70 exhibitions of work by Russian and international artists working in a variety of media.
