1) COC
The venue takes its name from the gay rights organization COC, so you will always find a mixed crowd on Friday when both gay and lesbian clubbers attend. Very popular and lively weekend discos are organized here.

2) Prik
Bar Prik stands out of the lot as a funky hot spot. The crowd mixed with queers and open-minded folk makes Prik an attitude-free and fun place. Different theme nights every week, cool DJs, great cocktails and snacks make Prik an excellent place to hang out in.

3) Cuckoo's Nest
Cuckoo's Nest is one of the many popular gay bars in Amsterdam with an eclectic mix of people, wonderful ambiance, and good music. The staff are friendly and the drinks are reasonably priced which may also help to explain why this bar is so busy during the day.

4) Getto
Sporting a fabulous kitsch interior, Getto is a welcome addition to Amsterdam's gay and lesbian scene, featuring a more intimate restaurant area at the back and a hip bar at the front.

5) Cockring
Cockring is located in the famous Red Light District. If you feel like getting down and dirty a little, this is the right place. The club holds the craziest parties, special events, and live adult shows.

6) Exit
Exit club is located on one of Amsterdam's most happening streets, and attracts a trendy crowd consisting mostly of gay men. This is considered Amsterdam's largest gay club, featuring four levels with bars, dance floors, and a chill-out area and a dark room on the very top.

7) ARC
ARC is a see-and-be-seen-in lounge cafe with modern decor and soft, sophisticated pink and violet lighting. It is a popular venue with both, gay and straight crowd, and has three bar areas with the main bar acting as a restaurant also.
