Bird Sanctuary, Melaka

The Bird Sanctuary in Melaka opened to the public in 1991, offers an enriching experience for visitors of all ages, particularly families with children. This sanctuary is a large aviary featuring pedestrian walkways at ground and tree-top levels, providing unique vantage points for observing the wildlife. The aviary is home to a wealth of free-flying tropical birds representing more than 20 species, including peacocks and parrots. The intimate setting allows for close interactions with the birds, such as a friendly ring-necked bird that followed visitors around the aviary.
