Boise Art Glass, Boise

Boise Art Glass, Boise

Boise Art Glass is a hub of creativity founded in 2004 by Czech-born artist Filip Vogelpohl. With years of international experience and apprenticeships under master glassblowers, Vogelpohl brought his passion for the ancient craft to Idaho, opening the city’s first and only dedicated glass art studio. Today, Boise Art Glass is home to more than 15 artists and continues to introduce visitors to the dynamic world of molten glass-offering a rare opportunity to watch, learn, or purchase exquisite, handcrafted works of art.

Inside the studio, visitors encounter an ever-evolving display of colorful, sculptural pieces: chandeliers, jewelry, ornaments, and intricate glass sculptures. The studio doesn’t just showcase finished products-it invites you behind the flame. Friendly and knowledgeable instructors guide visitors through flameworking or glassblowing sessions, making the process approachable and memorable for beginners and enthusiasts alike.
