Cuddy Family Midtown Park, Anchorage

The Cuddy Family Park in the center of midtown is a nice place for outdoor recreation for both kids and adults. The park exists since 1984, and since then has been renovated many times. Now it is divided into areas for a variety of activities, including an ice-skating rink, a fountain, an amphitheater and picnic tables. In summer children can enjoy the kayak boating experience. The park is named in honour of the Cuddy family which in 2000, donated funds to help improve the park.
