Iglesia Santa Rosa, Caracas

It was here in Iglesia Santa Rosa that in 1811 Venezuelan independence was declared. Over the years, it has served as a place of education and a center of spiritual and intellectual development. In 1973, the church was renovated, and today many meetings, conferences, debates and graduations take place here. One of the church's most famous pieces is a map from 1578 that is available for public viewing.
