Limassol Cruise Terminal, operated by DP World Limassol, is the main cruise port of Cyprus, strategically located on the southern coast of the island. As one of the largest and busiest ports in the Mediterranean, it plays a crucial role in both passenger and commercial maritime traffic. DP World Limassol was awarded a 25-year concession in 2017 to operate the multi-purpose port and cruise terminal, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency.
The modern cruise terminal, officially commenced operations in July 2017 and offers a wide range of facilities designed to cater to cruise lines and passengers. The 3,500-square-meter cruise terminal building features duty-free shops, banks, a tourist information desk, a lounge/cafeteria, international telephone exchange services, and separate departure and arrival halls.
Transfers between the ship and the terminal are seamless, with available taxi services and shuttle buses, including Bus 30, which connects the terminal to the old port and Limassol’s city center. The new terminal is also part of a luxurious marina development, adding to the appeal of the area for visitors and yacht enthusiasts alike.
Located approximately 3 kilometers (1.9 miles) west of Limassol’s city center, the cruise terminal provides easy access to the city's attractions, including the Limassol Castle and the charming old harbor, now a picturesque spot for fishing boats and leisure vessels. A short 10-minute taxi ride connects cruise passengers to the heart of Limassol, where they can explore the historic district, seafront promenade, and vibrant shopping and dining areas.
