Monumento a Cristobal Colon (Monument to Christopher Columbus), Mar del Plata

Located in the Plaza Colon, the statue of Christopher Columbus is a beautiful landmark and is considered one of the oldest in the town. Established in 1900 and open to the public in 1903, the Columbus statue has been at this location since its foundation. The statue rests on a stone pedestal with a small inscription on front.
