St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Houston
Saint Matthew Lutheran Church is a historic congregation located on Main Street in Houston's Museum District. The church was founded in 1925 through the dedicated efforts of Rev. R.A. Jesse. Originally, the church was located in a red brick building on the corner of Westheimer and Ralph. This original location served the congregation for over a decade until they outgrew the space.

The church's beautiful sanctuary, with its high ceilings and stained-glass windows, provides a peaceful and inspiring space for worship and reflection.
