St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Toledo

St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church is the second oldest Lutheran church in Toledo. It was founded on the 1st of September, 1857. The Patron Saint of the church is Saint Paul – one of the 12 Apostles; his epistles constitute a significant part of the New Testament. In 1982 St. Paul’s church celebrated its 125th birthday. On this occasion the social room of the church was renewed.

This room is a space used for meetings, banquets and a place for fellowship before and after services of worship. In September 2007, the church celebrated its 150th Anniversary. St. Paul’s has a rich library with religious and non-religious material. The library is also used for visual presentations. Today you can study Bible at St. Paul’s on Sunday mornings. These lessons are for adults and for children of every grade level. St. Paul’s Lutheran Church welcomes everyone who wants to bring light into the world.
