Amalga Distillery, Juneau

Amalga Distillery is Juneau’s first craft distillery and one of the city’s downtown destinations for locally produced spirits. Established by local owners, the distillery focuses on small-batch production, including its signature Juneauper Gin and limited-release American Single Malt Whiskey. Its tasting room provides visitors with an opportunity to sample these spirits while learning more about the craft distilling process in Southeast Alaska.

The tasting room features a rotating selection of draft cocktails made with the distillery’s own spirits and seasonal ingredients. Visitors can enjoy gin-based drinks, specialty cocktails, and other creations while taking in views of downtown Juneau through the large windows. Amalga also offers canned cocktails and packaged products for those who want to purchase locally made beverages to enjoy elsewhere.

In addition to spirits, the distillery carries a selection of locally inspired provisions and gift items, including many vegan-friendly products.
