Just a few steps away stands another notable landmark: the Jacob Schumacher Consulate House at Number 10. Built in 1870 by the Schumacher family, the residence later served as the official United States consulate when Jacob Schumacher was appointed honorary consul.

Continuing uphill past the historic homes and boutique hotels, you will arrive at the lower Bahá’í Gardens entrance.
