Chiesa di Santa Giulia, Livorno

Dedicated to the patron saint of Livorno, the Church of Santa Giulia stands next to the Duomo, a short distance from Piazza Grande. Adjoining the church are the oratory of San Ranieri and the Museum of Santa Giulia, which houses sacred furnishings. Be sure to see the historic high altar, the beautiful carved wooden ceiling, the numerous frescoes and the famous Giulia table that dates back to the 13th century.
